Hi, I am Kelly Benz and I am a Mental Health advocate. I believe that in order for each of us to function at our best all the time, we need to ensure that we keep this part of our lives in check. “How do I do that?” you may ask yourself.

If, at any point, you experience the following symptoms while you are striving for your goals, please consider seeking help.
– Racing heart beat.
– You find it a little difficult to breathe.
– You start sweating more than usual.
– You feel a frustrated more frequently.
– You feel very anxious!
– Your appetite changes. You either feel very hungry or you don’t feel like eating at all.
If this sounds like you, I want you to know that stress is a normal part of life. In order to manage it well, you must practice self-care. Identify something that you enjoy doing and reward yourself every time that you complete a task or when you start to feel overwhelmed by everything. This will ensure that you keep a good mindset as you power on with your duties.
You can also try meditating or sitting in complete silence. This will make you focus on your breathing which will help to calm you down.
Maybe you have different ways in which you practice self-care. As long as these ways a good and kind to the body, go for it!
